Our Programs & Classes

Students and enthusiasts of martial arts have many reasons for their interest in the martial arts. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Lil Dragons (Ages 3 - 5)
These 35 minute classes are designed for children ages 3 to 5 and focus on the development of two very important attributes for young children. First, increasing their concentration and attention span and second, improving their motor skills (balance, coordination, agility, etc.). The activities the children participate in are fun, safe and exciting. We also maintain a very low student/teacher ratio to ensure your child’s progress.

Junior Program (Ages 6 - 8)
Students will benefit from both the mental and the physical aspects of our children’s program. Mentally, they will learn the importance of self-control, respect and self discipline. With increased concentration you will notice an improvement in your child’s ability to focus on schoolwork. Physically, they will develop a variety of self -defense techniques to protect themselves in any situation, boosting their self confidence. Classes meet for 50 minutes and are conducted in a safe, fun filled, positive environment.

Youth Program (Ages 9 - 14)
Students will benefit from both the mental and the physical aspects of our children’s program. Mentally, they will learn the importance of self-control, respect and self discipline. With increased concentration you will notice an improvement in your child’s ability to focus on schoolwork. Physically, they will develop a variety of self -defense techniques to protect themselves in any situation, boosting their self confidence. Classes meet for 50 minutes and are conducted in a safe, fun filled, positive environment.

Family Martial Arts Class
Our Family program develops team spirit. Our children & Family Martial Arts Program is designed to develop and strengthen the unity of the family. When individuals work together as a team, their individual talents will naturally improve. This is the class where parents and children learn together. A family that trains together sticks together!

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting with the goal of gaining a dominant position and using joint-locks and chokeholds to force an opponent to submit. BJJ can be trained for self defense, sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition.

Black Belt Club
The Black Belt Club is for students who are committed to training in the martial arts and earning their Black Belt. Students are eligible for the BBC at Yellow Belt. BBC members attend an extra class per week with other BBC members, and also receive many extra benefits such as special uniforms and discounts on special events.

Black Belt Only Class
Elite level training class for Black Belts. This class will focus on Advanced Techniques & Sparring, Breaking, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Gymnastics/Tumbing Class
This program is designed for students with little to no tumbling experience. Instructors will guide children through a variety of basic tumbling skills and muscle conditioning using games and activities. Completing this course will provide your child with the foundation to take it to the next level.

Karate Birthday Parties
An hour and half of Fun & Safe supervised activities Including: FUN Games, Basic Karate instruction Basic tumbling instruction, Pizza, and a lot more.

Aerobics & Chisel Classes
Come joing us for great workout, incorportating high and low impact aerobic moves that can be modified to any fitness level. Plus, a safe and effective toning segment. Classes taught by Mary D'Orsaneo, nationally certified aerobic instructor & personal trainer with more than 20 years of experience. For more information call Mary at 410-758-2771.
